Nightcrawler – Malevolent Forces: When the Night Leaves You Breathless
Some artists build their own language. Others expand it until the border no longer exists. Malevolent Forces belongs to the second category. Here, Nightcrawler sharpens his sound and pushes it into harder, more electronic and more visceral territory, without losing the narrative tension that has always defined his universe.
Released on November 13, 2025, the EP works as a structured descent in four movements, inviting us to confront what we usually avoid.
Acid Rain — Emotional Corrosion in Real Time
The first blow comes with Acid Rain, where electronics become a vehicle to speak about relationships that deteriorate slowly, without anyone admitting it. Nightcrawler describes it as “acid rain falling on bonds and eroding them little by little,” and the image fits perfectly with the restless tempo and the gradual sense of erosion that runs through the track.
Corrupted System — The Machine That Swallows Us All
The second cut is pure iron and control. Corrupted System pulses like machinery that never stops, a reflection of the system we inhabit, one that absorbs us without us even noticing. Nightcrawler sums it up with a phrase that says it all: there is no better slave than the one who does not know he is one.
The cold, mechanical structure reinforces that feeling of surveillance and silent obedience.
R.U.S.H. — The Speed That Makes Us Sick
Here the discourse opens up completely. R.U.S.H. avoids metaphor. It is a direct critique of anxiety, absurd pressure, and the velocity that dictates modern existence. The bass pushes forward relentlessly, and the production tightens toward collapse, capturing the sensation of always being late, even when there is no clear destination.
Resident Nightmares — The Subconscious as an Intimate Enemy
The closing track is the most personal piece on the EP. Resident Nightmares emerges from Nightcrawler’s recurring dreams, the kind that return again and again, leaving a difficult echo behind. It is introspective and spectral, turning fear into sonic texture and vulnerability into presence.

Our Take on Malevolent Forces
Malevolent Forces is not a comfortable record. It does not aim to be. It is a stripped-down exploration of pressure, erosion, and the internal ghosts that follow us. One of the artist’s most solid works to date: direct, forceful, and fully aligned with his evolution.
Nightcrawler produced, mixed, and mastered the EP at NC Sound Studio, with graphic design by George Gold Design.
It is released digitally under Nightcrawler Music.
A release that confirms something evident: when Nightcrawler decides to dive deeper into his own universe, no corner remains untouched. Not this time either. And that is precisely the point.
