Barcelona Events August 2026 by Radar Underground
August in Barcelona usually means one thing: half the city empties out, the heat turns punishing, and gig listings thin to almost nothing. Radar Underground didn’t get the memo. Their August agenda is as packed as any other month, proof that whoever’s still around doesn’t have to choose between the beach and a decent night out.
Depeche Mode 80s90s party
August opens without much of a lull. Sáb 01 sets the tone with a double bill at Lennon’s Club: an 18h tardeo built around Depeche Mode and 80s/90s classics, followed by a DJ Dispël set at 02:30h running through alternative, indie, dance, electronic and techno. Dom 02 splits into two very different rooms: GEE TEE and Gripau bring egg punk to Sala Upload at 20h, while The Encabronados play hardcore and punk at Nevermind Bar (Tallers) the same night, free entry. Dom 09 keeps things accessible with Hey! Indie Pop Club, DJs Luis Le Nuit and Nacho Ruiz at Bus Hexperience Port Fòrum, also free. Jue 13 brings Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg, straight punk rock, to Sala Salamandra.

Mid-month: Amyl and The Sniffers sell out twice
Vie 14 kicks off Festival Beach Beer Chaos at Sala Razzmatazz with Último Asalto, Brux, Exili and Quinta Forca, a punk and Oi! bill built for a crowd that knows the genre. Then comes the month’s clearest signal of demand: Amyl and The Sniffers play Razzmatazz twice, Mar 18 and Mié 19, both sold out. Pub rock, punk rock, garage, no seats left for either date.

Festes de Sants and the closing stretch
The Festes de Sants take over La Deskomunal with two very different registers. Dom 23 at 01:00h leans indie pop with DJs Luis Le Nuit, Nacho Ruiz and Viktor Ollé. Mar 25 flips to punk and hardcore for Fi de Festa II Correcallos, DJs Ignacid and Grosz, free entry. Vie 28 closes the week with The Britboard Experience at Sala Sarau 08911, a britpop and Brit rock set, and later that same night, at 00h, Lennon’s Club runs another DJ Dispël session, free until 02h.
Closing the month: Fiesta Atomic
The agenda wraps on Sáb 29 with Fiesta Atomic at Club P62. DJs David Bluetag, Loquero and Diegork build the night around Ramones, The Strokes and Fontaines DC as reference points, a fitting way to close a month that’s leaned hard into punk, garage and post-punk-adjacent programming across the city.
