Days Of Sorrow Announce first Single from Raptures
Days Of Sorrow return with “Who We Are,” the first single from their upcoming album Raptures, set for release on February 26, 2026. The track arrives on February 12 and serves as the opening statement of a new chapter that remains fully aligned with the band’s established identity.
We had the opportunity to listen to the single ahead of its release, and it does not disappoint. “Who We Are” firmly inhabits darkwave territory, driven by a solid rhythmic foundation and a memorable melodic structure. There are no unnecessary twists or forced attempts at modernization; instead, the song embraces a carefully crafted production and a sound that will feel instantly recognizable to longtime followers of the project.

The single also functions as a clear statement of intent. Days Of Sorrow look back without nostalgia, connecting influences, scene and personal trajectory with a way of understanding music that still feels relevant today. It is a song about identity and continuity — both for the band and for those who have grown alongside underground culture.
Last year, we had the chance to speak with William in a conversation that offered deeper insight into the creative and personal moment the project is currently experiencing. “Who We Are” fits perfectly within that context: a band that knows who it is, where it comes from, and does not feel the need to justify it.
The release arrives via Mots Music and will be available on all major streaming platforms, as well as on Bandcamp, from February 12, 2026. A strong preview that suggests Raptures is aiming high — and one we hope to experience live later this year.
