Barcelona Events April 2026 by Radar Underground
April comes in strong with a packed schedule across Barcelona, once again curated by Radar Underground. From post-punk and darkwave to punk, shoegaze and electronic nights, the city keeps moving across different scenes and spaces.
As always, this agenda focuses on what’s happening at ground level. Venues, collectives and promoters shaping the local underground.
Early April highlights
The month kicks off on April 3rd with the 2ª Ed. Terremoto Apache Festival at Freedonia, bringing together alternative punk and post-punk acts like Malniu and Irra Digital.
On April 4th, there’s a mix of approaches depending on where you go. A solidarity concert for Meteoro gathers Yakuzza, Brides and Sueño Xanadú, alongside DJs EstebanH and Cemento. That same night, the Depeche Mode Barcelona Fan Club hosts a Pop’n’Wave party, while Undead Dark Nights keeps things darker with DJ Penumbra.

Shoegaze, post-punk and live acts
April 7th brings a solid pairing with The Dharma Chain + Tou at Sala Laut, moving between shoegaze and post-punk.
On April 9th, Margarita Quebrada takes over Sala Upload with a mix of post-punk, synthpop and new wave, while Dramachine and Larsovitch deliver a more synthetic, sharper sound at Freedonia.
Club nights and underground sessions
Radar Underground also highlights several club-focused nights. From DJ sessions at Sala River to darker selections at Sinestesia, the agenda keeps a steady balance between live shows and dancefloor-oriented events.
Nights like “Session Dispel” or “Undead Dark Nights” continue to reinforce that connection between alternative electronic music and club culture in the city.

Mid-month: variety and density
Mid-April is especially dense.
Barcelona Psych Fest brings Deadletter (April 17th) and Salvana (April 18th), covering post-punk, art-punk and dream pop territories.
That same weekend expands across multiple venues:
- Devotional Mode tribute night
- Kaelan Mikla + Dunkelwald at Sala Wolf
- Ciclo Caoscalma with Pyramides + Fiebre
At the same time, club formats remain active with indie, darkwave and gothic sessions spread across the city.

Closing the month
Towards the end of the month, the agenda keeps its intensity.
Events like Cosmic Psychos (April 22nd) or Darkways presenta: RUST + New Born Ghost + My Own Burial (April 24th) reinforce the presence of heavier and darker sounds.
There are also strong local line-ups like:
- Sublocal-Z + Low Blows + DJ Dark Nails
- DJ sets at Manchester Bar
- Solidarity events and underground collectives
And to close things out, April 30th offers multiple options, from club nights like Fiesta Atomic to punk-focused shows like Moreneta Warriors Fight.

A growing underground network
Radar Underground continues to map what’s happening in Barcelona with consistency and a clear focus. Different genres, different venues, but a shared space where scenes overlap and coexist.
